CES 2017 is just days away, and Amazon and Plantronics are launching a pair of headsets for Amazon Prime customers.
Amazon is calling the Gear VR the “ultimate virtual reality headset” and the Plantronics Rig 500 the “world’s first industrial headset.”
The Plantronics VR headset will retail for $399.99, while the Amazon Rig 500 is $399 and up.
Both headsets are designed for VR gaming, with a small controller mounted on the front of each headset.
Both are designed to work with Samsung’s Gear VR.
The Plantronics headset has a built-in microphone that allows for an immersive audio experience and is the first headset with a built in microphone.
Amazon claims the Rig 600 headset has improved audio quality, and is designed to allow the headset to work in a variety of environments, including “a wide variety of indoor and outdoor environments.”
The Rig 500, on the other hand, has a more traditional headset setup that uses the same wired headset as the Plantronic headset, but with a microphone instead of a microphone.
The Rig 500 will have an included microphone that works in conjunction with the headset, and will be compatible with both the Plantronics and Amazon headsets.
Amazon will also sell the Rig 300 headset as an add-on accessory, and there will be an option for Plantronic users to purchase the Rig 360 headset as well.
Both headsets will be available in October, and both will be sold through Amazon’s website.
